Our services for hydrants and hose reels includes Inspection, Test & Preventative maintenance to Australian Standards 1851-2012 and the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008.
A part of our fire protection services is six (6) monthly inspections of hydrants and hose reels to assess for damage and that the hydrant/hose reel is clear of obstructions. Annual test for the presence of water and conduct water flow test on most hydraulically disadvantaged hydrants/hose reel.

Our fire hose & Reel Test Includes
- Roll the hose back up & lock in the nozzle
- Tag the correct month/year with the number 1 if it is the first service for that year, if it is the second service for that year it must be tagged with the number 2
- Ensure there is no leak on the FHR drum anywhere
- Isolation valve installed to the FHR & working correctly
- Isolation valve must not be leaking
- Roll out the hose & turn on the water full to ensure strong flow
